After 6 years, Steve decided to go back to school to acquire his MBA and Masters in Manufacturing Engineering from Boston University.  He then returned to IBM in Chicago, IL working as a Systems Engineer and project leader working with clients in automotive component manufacturing, food processing, general manufacturing, public utilities and others, to design and implement a variety of technology solutions.

After 10 years with IBM, Steve moved back to his hometown of Detroit to become the IT Director of Quicken Loans/Rock Financial and helped build a team that was instrumental in developing Rock Financial’s early online mortgage operations.  In early 2000, Steve moved on to work with a local start-up company, Meeting Express as its CTO, where he got bitten by the entrepreneurial bug.  This led him to go into business for himself, launching Huntington Technology, Inc.

With his background in Industrial Engineering and Business, Steve felt confident that he could build a team to help small and mid-sized businesses with all of their information technology related needs. Over 16 years later, Huntington Technology now services over 250 clients annually, many of whom are managed service clients and require daily support, strategic guidance and a trusted IT resource to depend on.

Building long-term relationships, providing the highest level of customer service, and witnessing his clients’ growth and successes are Steve’s most valued accomplishments.
